Hello my beautiful friends!
It’s finally Friday and I got a wild idea & took off a half day! {I NEVER miss work/school. I was that nerd that missed 1 day of school from Kindergarten through 12th grade} My husband & I are driving from OKC to Missouri for a weekend of family fun. Before we kick-start this road trip, let’s do a little confessing with Leslie over at A Blonde Ambition!

1. I confess that I signed up for my first subscription box! Some of my favorite bloggers have talked about Le Tote and I decided to finally try it out with a 50% off code I found. My first box should arrive tomorrow and I cannot wait to see what they put together for me! The great thing is you can send it back & get new items as many times as you want in one month. Let’s just say I plan on getting my money’s worth… 😉

2. I confess that I can’t wait to watch the OU vs. Texas game this weekend! There has been so much excitement building up around here in Sooner territory for the game. BOOMER!

3. I confess I recently got this Mindy Mae’s Market tunic & necklace in the mail & I have already worn both of them several times. I love how versatile, yet classic both pieces are. & It is your lucky day because you can save 10% on anything over at Mindy Mae’s with discount code: kelsslayt

4. I confess I snagged these earrings at Target  ($7.99) & have worn them all week. So many people have commented on them since they are such a different style! I have seen this style popping up at Bauble Bar & Bloomingdale too!
5. I confess I have spent the last few weeks teaching about Australia {I am a 7th grade geography teacher} and I am already planning our next big vaca to the land down under! If only I could master that fabulous Aussie accent… 🙂 If any of you gals have been before, I would love to hear your experience!

6. I confess that J. Crew Factory did their new release this week and I am drooling over several new pieces. I purchased the goodies below! The entire women’s section is 50% off this weekend 🙂

I think I have done just about enough confessing for the week! Feel free to link up & share your week’s confessions too!

While I love shopping for new sweaters, leggings, & flannels… fall accessories are my favorite thing to browse the aisles for! These are just a few of my favorite fall accessories right now {including TWO perfect Zara blanket scarf look-a-likes}. Great news for my bank account, they are all under $50!
I am spending some time packing today for a trip home to Missouri over the weekend! I can’t wait to see my family, go to the Pitt State homecoming football game, & catch up with my momma! Even though I typically like to enjoy peaceful weekends after a busy week at school, the long drive could’t be more worth it.

Have a wonderful Thursday gals & until next time, check out these fab accessories by clicking on the picture to shop 🙂

Be Blessed.

My hands-down, absolute favorite items in my closet? Vests. They can easily take a basic outfit from plain Jane to fashion-forward & trendy. Military inspired vests, faux fur vests, puffer vests… I really just love them all! The “vest” section in my closet seems to constantly be growing since those are the pieces I am gravitating towards most when I shop lately.
Sweater: Old Navy / Vest: Old Navy & similar / Pants: Target similar here / Shoes: Gap / Necklace: Buckle / Watch: Kate Spade / Purse: Forever 21 similar here / Bow headband: Hazel & Olive

This Old Navy vest closely resembles the popular J.Crew version, but is a fraction of the cost. I scored it this past weekend on a shopping haul where I used up the substantial amount of rewards I had racked up! {I love shopping trips that end up being “free”} 🙂
I also want to give a shout out to these snakeskin loafers from Gap! They have been on my feet four times in the past week since I bought them! I love the neutral color, fun texture, & comfy style!

& I know freezing temperatures may seem to be a distant thought but those cold nights will be here before you know it! {some of you may already be there!} If you will be spending any time at all outside this winter, you know you’ll need some fashionable accessories. Make this bow headband #1 on your list! Not only is Hazel & Olive my favorite online boutique but this knit headband comes in several colors to compliment any hair color! At only $19 bucks + f r e e shipping, you’ll be glad you scored it now before they are all sold out!
