I mean, does it get any more “fall” than this? When I stepped into my closet this weekend, this outfit was practically begging me to be worn together! I just couldn’t resist the rich colors, the fun print, & the soft textures!

It finally cooled off this weekend in Oklahoma but the temperatures seem to be on their way back up for the week! This light tunic paired with a vest is the ideal layered look that is very “fall appropriate” yet still tolerable with the 80 degree temperatures.

While this navy vest has the perfect structured, military-inspired look on the outside, it has the softest mink lining on the inside! I seriously love how soft it is. Hazel & Olive has this vest for you in several colors along with lots of other fall staples!

Confessional Friday

Good morning friends!
Come join along with my fellow blonde, Leslie & I as we confess our deepest, darkest secrets {okay, not really that deep & dark but just play along}!

1. I about lost my mind earlier this week. I typically lay out my outfits for an Instagram picture in the morning. This particular morning, I left my outfit on the ground while I was doing my make-up just a few feet away. Of course this would be the time that I drop my brand new powder and it shatters on top of my brand new Old Navy flannel. Oh joy. 
I was determined to wear the darn shirt. I cleaned her right up and went along my happy way!

2. As a cheer coach, this is a stressful time of year. Weekly football games, pep assemblys, & starting choreography for our Nationals routine. I love those 19 little gals but man, they sure make me stress eat! Good news though, our competition this weekend is at the OKC outlet mall. Whoever planned that location, high five to you!

3. I posted earlier this week about faux leather pieces for fall. I missed this LOFT skirt in my searches but I will definitely be making it mine all mine this weekend!
4. Light Denim

I haven’t bought a pair of light wash denim since high school. However, I recently decided it was time to find another pair since light denim seems to be having a moment this fall!

Light denim tends to be a more casual style. This look would be perfect for a Saturday lunch or running errands. I may even try & wear it on our next jean day at school too!
