Well hey there gals! What a cold & dreary week it has been… Let’s perk it up & get this Friday going so we can party for the weekend!

1. I confess that due to the amount of snow Oklahoma received last weekend, I sadly had to cancel the LOFT party I was hosting. Lucky for you, I have rescheduled it for this Sunday at 7pm! Come joint me at the Loft store inside Penn Square Mall for a fun little event. You can expect drinks, desserts, & a sale. When I say sale, I mean 40% off the entire store kinda sale 🙂 You won’t want to miss it!! I will be wearing this skirt and hopefully one of these options:

3. I confess that I had the time of my life at the Marine Corps Birthday Ball last Friday night. There is nothing better than watching my handsome husband suit up in his Dress Blues and follow the tradition of celebrating so many brave young men & women. I rented this fabulous Badgley Mischka dress from Rent The Runway. You can currently save $25 off your first rental! I had such a smooth experience that I am also planning on grabbing a dress or two for the holiday parties I have in December.






4. I confess that I am conflicted on decorating for Christmas. It is such a crazy time of year and it takes a lot of work to get it all together! Since our families are in Missouri, we usually spend the weeks surrounding the 25th there {& not at home}. Knowing that we won’t be here to celebrate & enjoy the decor is making me kiiiiinda want to skip it this year. Unless someone wants to volunteer to do it for me? Yayy for you! 😉 


5. I confess that my head is spinning from the emails about sales this week! It seems that all of my favorite stores are running great deals this weekend! The ones I am looking forward to most? Gap will be 50% off the entire store all weekend & Old Navy will be 50% off the entire store Saturday. I mean… My shopping cart is already full so why not? 😉

Between the printed booties, floppy hat, & turquoise necklace, this look has several components that I just looooove. 

If you haven’t already picked up on my love for SheInside, let me just make it clear here. It is the best place to find very affordable clothing that hits all the latest trends! I scored this black flared top for $17 and that was one of the higher priced tops I was looking at. Several people have expressed hesitancy about ordering from SheInside but I personally have never had any issues. As long as you carefully check the sizing, I would encourage you to jump on those pieces you are eyeballing! 

This week is a stressful one! I am trying to prep my cheer team for our first competition this weekend, finalize our Thanksgiving meals & plans, and wrap up my Christmas shopping. I went to the mall last weekend & the insanity almost instantly drove me right back out the door. The coming weeks will only get crazier & I need to finish up gift buying before I just give up! Hopefully Cyber Monday will have some great deals I can score 🙂

I love leopard & I love puffer vests. I also love deals & bargain shopping. So you can imagine my excitement when I found this vest at Ross for $16! {Ok, actually, my mom bought it for herself, text me a picture, & I immediately called every OKC area Ross searching for my size} I think this fun print will be perfect to throw on over turtlenecks, sweaters, and basic layers all. winter. long. 

I don’t know about you, but any chance I get, I instantly go throw on leggings. There is nothing better than a polished look that is incredibly comfortable. These Avery Lane Boutique leatherette leggings {$19!!} are the ideal legging. They look good AND feel good. Can I get an amen?
