Even though there are 17 school days left, my mind has already started summer break! I am not sure how I am going to keep it together for another few weeks when I am constantly day dreaming about shorts, pools, and sleeping in! You might pray for my sanity, or better yet my student’s well being, while we all try to keep it together until May 22nd. 😉

These sandals were a spur of the moment splurge and I am so thankful I didn’t hesitate! They are sold out most places in this color but I did find an identical option {that comes in 6 colors!} for only $15. If you ever thought about joining the gladiator sandal club, that’s the way to do it, friends!

I will be spending my evening packing up for a quick trip home to Missouri! One of my high school friends is getting married this weekend & I couldn’t miss it. From yesterday’s laid back weekend look to today’s sassy style, I always love sharing a good deal! Yesterday I shared a pair of super cute $15 shorts & today it’s a darling $10 skirt. I decided to pair it with a fun statement tee and a leather jacket. Speaking of which, this leather jacket is a dream. It’s only $40 and is super soft! It’s a great piece for those chilly Spring nights but will also work perfectly through next fall too. And leopard pumps just put any outfit on the next level. These are my very favorite heels {From C.Wonder- R.I.P.} but these might just be the next best pair 🙂

Today is our last track meet! #hallelujah After 2 days of straight rain, I am hoping for some sunshine to peek through so it’s not a completely miserable night! Hopefully my kiddos do well & we bring home lots of medals. It is so much fun to see how excited & proud they are to wear those around their neck 🙂 Makes the practices and late nights worth it!

Weekend Brunching

One of my favorite weekend activities? Brunching. That’s a legit verb right? If not, it definitely should be!! There is nothing better than sleeping in on a Saturday morning, clearing your DVR from your busy week & and then slowly getting ready. Jake & I will hop in the car around noon and head to one of our favorite restaurants- usually with a sunny patio! Then we will proceed to stuff our faces & catch up on our weeks. These are probably some of my favorite times together 🙂

& This outfit is the perfect ‘brunching’ outfit: Super cute shorts with a stretchy waistband {this is key… and they are only $15} + an easy chambray and my favorite accessories. It is put together with minimal effort. Definitely my kind of weekend style!

Now let me just reminisce about how much I love weekends & just forget that it’s actually Monday morning, okay? Great.
