Remember yesterday when I said I love layers? Well this is my ideal layered outfit that’s perfect for just about any occasion. Chambray & sweatshirt layered. Chunky scarf. Riding boots & socks. Distressed jeans. Functional cross body bag. & Pretty jewels. I feel like this layered outfit is very “me.” And who doesn’t feel good in an outfit that just feels right on their body? I am all for dressing for yourself & what makes you happy!

Another thing I love about this layered outfit are some of the sweet gifts that I got over the holidays! My lovely aunt gifted me this cozy sweatshirt & I scored this bag & socks from some of my cheerleaders! Aren’t they just the best?? 🙂

Well I hope that whatever you are wearing today makes you feel as good & confident and makes you smile… Because life is too short to wear an outfit you don’t like!

If you follow me on Instagram, you caught an early glimpse of this look that I wore! My sweet husband picked out this snow leopard skirt all on his own for Christmas! I trained him well 😉 Of course I couldn’t just leave the outfit with one print so I threw in stripes for some print mixing. I kept the rest of this outfit pretty simple with a few jewels, black tights, & wedge booties!

I know it is hard to believe, but warmer months will be here soon. With below freezing temps in Oklahoma, it is hard to fathom warm sunny days! However, retailers will soon be clearancing out heavy winter pieces like coats & sweaters to make room for short sleeves & shorts.  Now is the time to shop for those winter pieces & get incredible steals & deals! I often will buy basic pieces like pea coats & sweaters to put back for next year. Keep an eye out here & my Facebook page where I will be posting some of those great deals as I come across them!

Speaking of warmer months… Fun fact about me? I despise cold weather & crave hot sunny days. BUT I would much rather dress for cooler temps with layers, boots & pants as oppose to shorts and sandals. Call me weird. It won’t be the first time 🙂

Happy Tuesday!

Well hello again! Long time, no see! I decided to fully enjoy Christmas break & take time away from blogging to hang out with family, relax, and honestly- be a little lazy! Now that it is a new year, I have a lot of excitement to get started on Styled Blonde again. Santa brought me new goodies to share & I feel refreshed with lots of new ideas for wearing & styling my closet. Sometimes it is good to take a break. I feel ready to take on a new year & hopefully share some great things!

I am kicking off 2015 with this piece from Sheinside. I’m honestly not sure what to call it. It is labeled as a cardigan but it is THICK… Almost like a coat. With the freezing Oklahoma temperatures we are currently experiencing, I welcomed this surprisingly warm number with open arms! It is a rich bordeaux color, has deep pockets, & can be so versatile. {I have already worn it with a Piko tunic & leggings too} I love how it looks belted & pulled together but it can also be worn open for a more loose & relaxed fit.

Sheinside is seriously the best for finding quality clothing at super affordable prices! This cardigan is only 36 bucks!! It’s not hard to find thick sweaters under $20 or cute tops under $15. Also, that popular blanket scarf everyone is wearing? Get it here for $11!!

I know many of you have expressed hesitancy about ordering from Sheinside but let me clear that up with my personal experience. I have placed five orders & have yet to have a single issue. The products are coming from China so you should expect your order to take a couple of weeks to arrive. Patience is key! Also, make sure that you closely review the sizing guide because you may want to order a different size than normal. Overall, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences!

Well I am back to school for the first day of 2015. As much as I love Christmas break, I am ready to get back in a routine. I look forward to seeing you gals back here tomorrow as we resume daily outfit posts!
