Ruffle Shift Dress* | Espadrille Wedge {$60 dupe here} | Sunglasses* | Bauble Bar Earrings* | Watch* | similar Crossbody Purse*
Y’all this is THE dress for Spring! Florals, ruffles and bell sleeves?! Yes, please! It is seriously so cute you don’t need many accessories! I paired it with my absolute favorite wedges– you’ll see these on repeat until September. They are a little on the pricey side so I found an almost exact dupe for only $60! And I wanted an extra pop of pink so I paired it with my kate spade new york crossbody. You might remember it from this post. And did you catch last weeks kate spade outfit? Seriously in LOVE with their Spring collection!
I thought I would get a little more personal today & share 5 things you might not know about me! I love when other bloggers do this so I thought it was the perfect chance to do it too!
1. I originally majored in Sports Broadcasting. I am a die-hard sports fan! Baseball is far & away my favorite. [My team is the Atlanta Braves] I can majorly nerd out on statistics, history and facts. During the Summer I listen to almost every single game on the MLB app! But a few years into college I realized that my heart was pretty set on marrying Jake- a Marine. I knew that my current major wasn’t going to translate into a very ‘portable’ career and allow me to move around the country with him every 4 years. So I changed my major to my second favorite thing- history!
2. I am a cheer coach. I cheered my entire life [junior high to college!] and loved the sport so much I wanted to coach. I have coached the past 4 years at Carl Albert Middle School! I have definitely poured SO much into the program there but am so thankful for all of the cheerleaders I got to know along the way. And by the way… It’s not just any middle school program. They have won over 15 National Championships in the last two decades. It’s incredibly impressive and those girls are more talented than most teams I ever had the opportunity to cheer on!
3. I absolutely LOVE to travel. If I could quit working for a year and just travel the world, I would do it in a heartbeat! Unfortunately, Jake isn’t really in to traveling so we have to make a compromise on this one. One of my favorite trips was a long Europe trip we took a few years ago. We visited London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Vatican City & Istanbul. While I loved the chance to see all of those beautiful places, the two I would most want to visit again are Berlin and Istanbul. Also on my current wanderlust wishlist: Cuba, Russia & Iceland!
4. I have a 10 month old named Beckam. So you might actually already know this one but I don’t talk about him often! He is the center of our world and I love spending my days with him. He was born at 33 weeks and spent nearly a month in the NICU. The day he was born was absolutely the scariest day of our lives! It was obviously completely unexpected and I had an emergency c-section shortly after we got to the hospital. We weren’t prepared at all- physically or emotionally! But it ended up being the best surprise of our life! Luckily, he is doing amazing now & catching up to where he needs to be!
5. I have friends EVERYWHERE! Ha! That actually sounds a little bit funny so let me explain… As a military family we do a lot of moving too. And the people we meet also do a lot of moving. And in addition to that several of my friends from high school and college moved around the country too! In fact, the bridesmaids in my wedding now live in Florida, North Carolina, Nebraska & Kansas. lol So I feel like I could travel almost anywhere in the country and have a friend to visit! When we send out Christmas cards each year we literally send one to every corner of the country!
Well I hope you babes have a great start to your week! I thought it was fun getting a little more personal / sharing more about myself today. I would LOVE to hear some fun facts about you! xox

Not only do I absolutely adore that feminine dress on you, but it was super fun to learn more about you through this post. I think it's so cool that sports are such a huge part of your life! My dad is the biggest baseball fan I've ever known, and my boyfriend loves basketball – so I've learned a good bit lately!
