Well I don’t know about you, but it’s a miracle we made it to Friday! ha! I think we might head to western Virginia this weekend to see the mountains & do a little hiking. We have a few friends that have gone & the pictures are absolutely gorgeous! The East Coast is definitely the place to be in the Fall. The colors are so vivid and stunning! And of course we will be watching the Bedlam game on Saturday. It’s always one of the most exciting football games of the season!
So let’s chat mini skirts & over the knee boots. If we’re being honest, there is one big reason why I LOVE this combo so much… I don’t have to worry about showing off my extra pale legs or trying to add self tanner before going somewhere! 😉 ha! Of course I also love this leopard skirt look because it’s cute & I think it’s a great way to elongate your body! If you haven’t paired over the knee boots with a skirt [or dress] before, my #1 tip is to make sure there is some separation between the hem of the skirt/dress and the top of the boots! This keeps it from all running together and looking a bit odd. I kept the gap pretty minimal in my leopard skirt outfit but that’s mostly because I didn’t want to blind you my lack of tan 😉 OTK boots are also REALLY cute with jeans. You’ll be seeing these boots with jeans soon!
I styled & shared this leopard skirt on the blog back in March here. I was SO excited when I recently stumbled across it again- on MAJOR SALE! I knew it would be the perfect match with these over the knee boots I just got in the mail from Marc Fisher. Yes, they are tall but they are surprisingly comfortable! They look really cute with jeans for a little more casual outfit too. Another recent find is this chenille sweater with a bell sleeve. It’s super budget friendly + incredibly soft! I actually first had the outfit without the quilted vest but wanted an extra layer & this black vest is always a go-to for me! It’s on sale 50% off too!
