The holiday season is officially here! & One of my favorite parts of the busy holiday season is focusing on family time! As a military family, time together is even rarer. Over the past 6 months my husband’s training schedule has been intense and kept him away far more than he’s been home. So whenever Beckam & I are able to steal a [rare!] weekend with him, we take advantage of every moment! My absolute favorite thing to do is just sit back and watch my two boys play & laugh together. There’s truly nothing better than seeing your husband being the best dad ever! Now that Jake’s schedule is starting to temporarily ease up a bit, we’re so excited to finally be able to hang out together more and spending some quality family time together! And, just in time for the holidays!
Over the last 9 years, Jake & I have pretty well perfected our communication skills! ha! Between deployments, training and schools, the Marine Corps has definitely kept us apart quite a bit. We’ve become experts at FaceTime, Snapchat & Messenger. As Beckam gets older, he’s starting to notice that his daddy is gone a lot & will point at my phone or hold it up to call him. It’s the sweetest, yet saddest thing ever! I recently got Jake this Armani Exchange Hybrid Smartwatch because amongst all of its really cool features, my favorite is that we set it up so that there’s a unique vibration on the watch specifically when I call or text him. This has been perfect, even if Jake doesn’t have his phone on him, when he gets my specific vibration, he knows to get back to me as soon as he can!
This Armani Exchange watch has a leather band and a stainless steel case. I love how it looks BUT I love the hybrid smartwatch features even more. I was blown away at how much it can do! It tracks your steps, hours you sleep, and can even control your music. The best part? It connects all of this to your phone wirelessly AND you never have to charge it! Other than the text/call/email vibration notification which is obviously my favorite feature, Jake loves that it automatically updates your timezone/date when traveling. He travels pretty often so this is definitely a feature that’s a must for him! Even though it has all of these amazing smartwatch features, it clearly doesn’t look like your typical smartwatch! It’s such a classic look that’s easy for a guy to wear with any outfit.
I probably should have waited to give this to Jake as a Christmas present! ha! But it was just too perfect to wait! However, if you have any guys on your list, this watch would be so good. It’s under $200 which is a total steal considering all of the features, the brand & the quality. I am so looking forward to the next month of the holiday season where our family will NOT have to rely on phones/watches/computers to see & talk to each other. We plan to create lots of family time memories with our little man this Christmas! Hopefully we can improve our family photo abilities too 😉 lol
