2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is LIVE to the public! The year’s most popular sale is available for everyone [not just cardholders] to shop! I wanted to put the 22 outfits from my big try-on session all in once place to make it easy to shop/see how to style different items. Many items are sold out but I have my fingers crossed for a full restock in some things + random return restocks in others. 2021 NSALE Fitting Room Try-On! I got to head to Nordstrom to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on Wednesday. My mom + Brylee tagged along & we had the best day! I will say- in store selection was limited. Several things I was hoping to check out in person weren’t available. One of the employees I chatted with said most of the Nordstrom brands [Caslon, BP., Halogen, etc.] were extremely delayed in getting to stores. I ended up placing an online order for most of those things I wanted & I’ll be back in a few days with another try-on session to share those!
I DID find some real gems to share with you for this NSALE Fitting Room Try-On! Shirt jackets, straight leg jeans & oversized sweaters are definitely going to be top 2021 trends. I put together 16 outfits below to share! You will see several items restyled a few ways which makes them my favorites! Anything I can instantly create multiple outfits with is an easy YES PILE item for me!

A closet staple for me! I’ve had them for years & have worn them dozens of times. I even had the maternity version [also on sale!] last year when I was pregnant. My #1 NSALE recommendation if you don’t already have them. Size up if between sizes!
One of my top 5 NSALE items! This shirt jacket is soft, has pockets & it’s lined! Also comes in a grey plaid, solid camel & solid light blue. I grabbed this tan/black combo because I think it will match SO many things!

My biggest splurge of the sale! I have wanted Golden Goose for a while now but could never bite the bullet on the $500 price tag. These are very similar but with a slightly less ‘dirty’ look than the GG. And also, about half the price. These are $100 off for the sale! I love this specific style with the hint of leopard!

The only tall boots I purchased! Love the color but even more so, love the square toe! The front dip at the top of the shaft is very flattering on the leg too!

I stumbled upon this dress and loved it in person! I didn’t even give it a second look online so I’m glad it was in store! The color is Fall perfection. This is a size small [all my store had] but I need a M in it for more length.

Very surprised by these! Obviously couldn’t pass up the subtle leopard! I’ve never owned anything Sweaty Betty but these have totally turned me onto the brand!

2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! The time has come once again for my favorite sale of the year! It’s my fav for a few reasons but mostly because it’s unique in that all of the NEW stuff for Fall is on sale! It’s a great time to preview styles for the upcoming season! I hope this blog post serves as your guide to planning to shop the NSALE this year! I will cover all the need to know details below!
WHEN IS THE NSALE?
This is a tricky question. Short answer: it depends. ha! The whole premise of the sale is that it is a perk for Nordstrom Card holders. Therefore, it is Nordstrom cardholders that get to shop first. And beyond that it is broken down into categories based on how much you spent at Nordstrom in the past year. Icons shop beginning July 12th, Ambassador level shops July 14th and all other cardholders shop starting the 16th. The 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale doesn’t open to the public until July 28th. That means cardholders get a BIG head start on shopping!
I COMPLETELY understand this is frustrating for many people who choose not to have a Nordstrom Credit Card. I’m not a big fan of credit cards and this is actually only 1 of 2 that I own. So I’m definitely not a proponent of opening a card just to shop the sale. But the sale was designed to be for cardholders so I’m trying to understand that perspective of why they choose to open it this way.
WHAT TIME CAN I SHOP THE NSALE?
On the day you’re able to shop, you will have access beginning at midnight PST! Due to the fact that things do sell out quickly, it might be worth a midnight or early morning browse!
2020 NSALE PREVIEW
Last year instead of a catalog, Nordstrom opted to do a full sale preview in the week leading up the sale. They are continuing with this model [which I love!] this year. You can get a look at everything included in the sale HERE.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE NSALE?
In case you’re new to shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale & don’t understand the hype… it’s so popular because it’s very different from other sales. This sale is when all of the best NEW styles for Fall are released. And they start out ON SALE! At the end of the Anniversary Sale, the items will go back up to their regular price. So basically it’s a great time to stock up on new things for the upcoming season at a discount!

SHOPPING IN STORE VS. ONLINE
If you’ve never shopped the sale in store, it is HECTIC. They have areas roped off that house the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items. Tons of people are there. & Most stores get very limited sizing and color selection. [Ex. a cardigan comes in 5 colors. Most stores may only get 2 0r 3 of the colors.] Add in all things Covid… & Online is definitely the place to be! OR! Even better… Nordstrom has the option for curbside pick up if you live near a store! So you can shop from the comfort of your home and select curbside/in-store pick up for ease & convenience.
WHAT I’M MOST EXCITED ABOUT
This year there are hundreds of new brands with items included. The two I am most looking forward to are Dyson & Olaplex. I also always explore the home, mens and kids categories. Always a few good finds there! Other things I usually love to see included:
