I’m so excited to share my favorite room in the house with y’all today! My office recently got a mini face-lift and I absolutely love it. I spend lots of time in this space so it’s important that it is a place that I love, feel inspired in, and can keep organized. I purchased the big furniture a few years ago {desk, cube shelves, bookcase, ghost chair} & wanted to use those pieces but incorporate a few new accessories to brighten/freshen up the room!
First, I think the biggest statement piece is this new rug from Rugs USA. I bought a rug on this site last year to use in Beckam’s nursery. It has held up great for the past year so I knew Rugs USA should be my go-to for a new office rug! I wanted a bold black and white print and when I saw this one, I knew it was perfect. {& you can’t beat the price!!} Also: stay tuned to Instagram because I will be giving away a rug from Rugs USA soon!
When I started shopping for new desk accessories, I knew exactly where to start. kate spade new york not only makes some of my favorite bags, shoes and clothing [see my posts wearing them here] but they also have lots of cute stuff for the office. I’m obsessed with all of the white, gold and clear acrylic pieces & knew they would fit in perfectly with things I already had in my office! The best part of it all? They’re high quality and affordable! Some of my favorites are this leopard notebook {under $15!}, these gold pens, and these striped file folders! I was able to add several kate spade new york desk accessories to my office without breaking the bank.
Something I think everyone needs in their office is a really cute picture frame. This kate spade new york one is absolutely gorgeous. The details are so pretty in person! Of course I had to add one of my favorite pictures from Beckam’s newborn shoot to the frame. Not only would this be a great piece to add to your office but it would also make the best gift! We all have lots of weddings, bridal showers and other events coming up and this would be a special gift to give. If you are looking for a little larger gift- this tray is stunning. While I am using it in my office, it would be great in many other places throughout the home!
I am so glad I finally got to share my office with you! Unfortunately, this is all getting packed up when we move in 2 months BUT I will definitely be re-creating almost the same space in our new home in Virginia!
