Outfit Details

Let’s talk details.
Small outfit details can really make or break an outfit. They can gussy up a look & take it from plain jane to totally complete! Of course jewelry is an easy way to add to any outfit. Details like cuffed jeans & a half tucked shirt are also ways to change things up a bit!

Top: J.Crew Factory / Skinnies: American Eagle / Ankle Bootes: Target {similar here} / Watch: Kate Spade via Nordstrom / Statement Necklace: Mindy Maes Market / Personalized Necklace: Very Jane {similar here} / Belt: Target / Purse: Forever 21 {similar here}
FYI: I will caution you with the fact that my husband HATES this half tuck look. He gave me the evil eye when I asked him to photograph this outfit for me! (thanks anyways babe!) So if you plan on taking this look for a spin, don’t expect it to be a hit with the boys!
On a more positive note, I scored this J.Crew Factory top for a great price during a recent sale. I think it will be super versatile this fall… Wearing it under vests, sweaters, and jackets for a polished look or over a graphic tee for a more fun style!

THE Plaid Scarf

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past year, you know just how popular this Zara blanket plaid scarf is! I finally got my hands on it & I’m so happy I was able to snatch one up! One thing you need to understand is just how LARGE this plaid scarf is… Let’s just say they don’t call it a blanket scarf for no reason.

 This blanket plaid scarf is perfect for chilly football games, bonfire nights, & September afternoons at the outlet mall 😉 It can easily be paired with neutrals like I did for this look or you can make it a little more edgy with a biker jacket & mixing prints!
Unfortunately, the Zara plaid scarf is sold out & unless you are willing to pay $100+ on Ebay for the exact version, you might want to check out some of these retailers with similar plaid scarf options here, here & here!

& today is your LUCKY DAY! You have a chance to win a Zara blanket scarf in addition to lots of other goodies (Kate Spade agenda, Starbucks gift card & the Essie Fall Collection)!! Find the details about entering my giveaway HERE!
