Hey gal pals! Hope you had a great weekend! We took our last roadtrip to Missouri before our move to the East Coast later this month. There were INSANE storms all weekend… the flooding in SW Missouri is absolutely crazy. Prayers to all of those who were affected by them!
If you follow me on Instagram you know that I recently traveled to Dallas & tagged my pictures with #rStheCon. If you’re unfamiliar with the blog world, that stands for ‘rewardStyle the Conference‘! So here is a quick recap on what exactly that means…
What? rewardStyle is the company behind LiketoKnow.it. [This is what allows my Instagram posts to be shoppable!] Read more about how to use it here. So #rStheCon is the yearly educational conference they hold for bloggers to attend!
Who? rewardStyle invites the top 2% of their digital influencers and 200 of them attended the conference! It was seriously amazing to meet so many of the bloggers that I’ve been following for years. I roomed with Sara, Molly & Cortney. Be sure to check out their blogs!!
When? The conference is always in April! 2017 marked the 5th year of the conference!
Where? rewardStyle has offices around the globe but their headquarters are in Dallas, Texas! Earlier this year I had the opportunity to visit the hQ offices. It’s absolutely stunning! The conference was held at Hotel Crescent Court.
Why? The conference weekend is all about networking with brands and bloggers, attending super informative classroom sessions, and celebrating both the growth and success of the company & our blogs!

The pretty backdrop for the Sole Society Pool Party
Ok so now that you are a bit more familiar with what the rewardStyle conference is all about, let’s dive into day 1 which was a Thursday! Since I still currently live in Oklahoma City, it was a short 3 hour drive down to Dallas. Once I got in town, I picked up my roommates at the airport and we grabbed lunch at In-n-Out! [duh!] We were finally able to check in to our hotel for the weekend- which was also the location for the conference. Hotel Crescent Court is absolutely stunning!! It was picture perfect for #rStheCon. I actually already shared the first outfit I wore for travel, check-in and the welcome party in this blog post. Those leopard pants are still a favorite!

After we checked in and got settled in our room, my roommates & I took the opportunity to go check out Accessory Concierge. It is a Dallas based jewelry company that has all of the cutest pieces. I honestly about died walking into their store! It’s actually a house converted into a shop. Everything is really open with beautiful jewelry everywhere! If you aren’t familiar with AC, you need to ASAP! I have been sharing a ton of their pieces on Instagram lately. Once we were able to shop a bit we headed back to to hotel & got ready for the Sole Society pool party! Hotel Crescent Court has a stunning rooftop pool that made for the perfect party backdrop. It was my first chance to chat with some of my favorite blogger friends! And of course I definitely didn’t skip the chips and guac! 😉 I would say the biggest downfall of this party was the heat. Oh my, the sun was out and we were all ready to jump into this pretty pool!

The Sole Society party was the best way to kickstart the conference weekend! I loved checking out everyone’s outfits and getting to meet so many new people. For the pool party I wore this stunning blue romper. It is a seriously good find that’s under $50! In fact, the entire outfit is super budget friendly. My white crossbody, hot pink heels & turquoise statement necklace are all under $50! I shared this outfit on Instagram after the event and everyone seemed to love this romper. The lace detail is gorgeous! It would be perfect for the beach, vacation or even a Summer date night.

After the pool party we headed to a late dinner at Mi Cocina. I will never pass up the opportunity for chips & queso! ha! We finally wrapped up our first day and headed to bed. I will be honest… I was a bit nervous about what to expect since this was my first #rStheCon. But after the first night all the nerves were gone! I can’t wait to share what the rest of the weekend held with y’all. Those posts will be up later this week! & I apologize for the iPhone photos… We were just a little too excited for the party that we skipped outfit pictures! Opps! xox
