As much as I want to non-stop shop for Spring & warmer weather, we still have a few months of cold days ahead! I wanted to round up 10 basics that are closet staples during the Winter months. However, many of these will also be perfect for Spring too! These are all items that I wear nearly every day & match SO many things in my closet!
I wear my red Hunter rainboots through the Fall, Winter & Spring! While I also own black & pink, the red is my most worn color. They go with everything!
A leopard scarf [this one is only $19!] is the perfect way to add both warmth & style to an outfit! Leopard goes with so many things + this is a simple way to incorporate a fun print.
4. GOLD WATCH
5. SKINNY JEANS
A great fitting pair of skinny jeans are a closet staple year round! But make sure to invest in a good option especially to wear with your boots in the Winter.
Your everyday shoes will change drastically depending on the season. This Winter I’ve become really attached to these UGG’s. They are SUPER warm, easy to wear & go with so much! I love this shorter style & how they pair with jeans.
7. STRIPED TEE
I’ve worn this striped tee religiously this winter. It’s made of the best material! It’s great on it’s own or layered under cardigans & pullovers. It’s a good quality too so it will last several seasons!
8. FIELD JACKET
Another closet staple that is on repeat from September through April! I have about 3 versions of the field jacket in my closet and wear them all constantly. They’re a great layering piece that will match tons of outfits!
I own a lot of bags but a cognac crossbody is the most versatile! This one is under $30 too.
10. STUD EARRINGS
This may seem simple but I wear my ‘fake‘ diamond studs nearly every single day! Even on cold snow days when I have on leggings & a pullover, this is the one piece of jewelry I’ll always have on. I love how it’s simple but definitely gives you a little pop!
